Not sure why anyone would be shocked by that question really, it seems rather sensible, and common to ask, if anything. One funny thing I remember is when we got taught sex ed, and the teacher pulled a set of rubber testicles out of her bag, I still find the look on everyone's face at the time hilarious, the classroom literally filled with laughter, ;_; the sad part is, that's probably the only clear memory I have left of school that brings me some sort of joy.
